DEALING WITH NEGATIVE ENERGY - CLEARING THE CHAKRAS

Many people today are becoming negatively impacted by the energy around them and by stressful people or situations. This stress can be avoided by doing simple energy exercises.



Balancing your chakras and setting up a shield is an excellent way to avoid becoming stressed or exhausted by these energies around you. An easy and effective method is to meditate on, or mentally walk, the Rainbow Stepping Stones. This exercise will clear and energize your chakras. The colors of the chakras are the colors of the rainbow. Your chakras are your personal rainbow.

Imagine that you are in a place of nature. As you walk along you come to a bridge over a stream. Cross this bridge. As you step off the bridge on the other side of the stream you step onto a ruby red stone. Breathing deeply in and out, let the red fill your entire body. As you breathe out release any excess anger, impatience, or tension you may be feeling.This stone corresponds to the 1st Chakra, the Root Chakra,located at the base of the spine.  As you breathe in, bring vitality and life force to all parts of your body. Sense the red flooding your entire body. Think or say the words, “I am filled with vitality and health.” Breathe deeply, in and out again and let the ruby red go back into the stepping stone.

Step onto the next stone, which is an orange stone. Breathing deeply in and out, allow the orange to fill your entire body. This stone corresponds to the 2nd Chakra, located beneath the navel. Release any excess tension you may be holding. Breathe in beauty and harmony and happy relationships. Let the orange fill your entire body. Think or say the words, “I enjoy many positive relationships and friendships. I appreciate the beauty in my life.” Breathe in and out again and let the orange go back into the stone.

Step onto the next stone. This stone is yellow-gold. Breathe in and out and let the gold fill your entire body. This stone corresponds to the 3rd Chakra, located at the Solar Plexus.  As you breathe out, release any tension. Breathe in peace and a sense of your personal empowerment. Breathe in the knowledge that you have the ability to make the choices that determine what happens in your life. Think or say the words, “I am serene and confident and in control of my life.” Breathe in and out again times and let the yellow-gold go back into the stone.

Step onto the next stone, which is an emerald green. Breathe in and out and let the emerald green fill your entire body. This stone corresponds to the 4th Chakra, located at the heart center, in the center of the breast. Breathe out any tension. Breathe in compassion and peace and then breathe them out to all beings. Think or say, “All My Relations,.” and feel your connection with all beings. Then gently let the emerald green go back into the stone.

Step onto the next stone. This stone is sky blue. Let the blue fill your entire body. This stone corresponds to the 5th Chakra, located at the throat. Breathing out, release any tension you still may hold. Breath in love and nourishment for yourself. Think or say, “I nurture myself. I love myself. I am creative!” Breathe in and out again and let the sky blue go back into the stone.

Step onto the next stone. This stone is a deep indigo blue, like the sky just after sunset. There are crystal flashes within the indigo, like the early stars that show at night.This stone corresponds to the 6th Chakra,located at the 3rd eye, above and between the eyebrows. Breathe in the indigo blue, letting it flood your entire body, awakening your intuition. Breathe in and out and think or say, “I trust my intuition.” Breathe in and out again and let the indigo go back into the stone.

Step onto the last stone, which is violet. The violet radiates throughout your body, filling it with a gentle light. This stone corresponds to the 7th Chakra, at the crown of the head.  Open to the spiritual vibration of the violet light that connects you to Spirit. Breathe a sense of Oneness in and out. Breathe in and out a few times, and let the violet go back into the stone.

As you step off this last stone, you stand on the earth. Feel the grounding energy of Earth. Allow any excess energy in your body to flow harmlessly down into the earth. Feel the warmth of the sun above you, pouring down on your body. Breathe in and out a few times as the earth and sky energy blend and fill your body.

Now let the energy expand to fill your aura. Visualize light filling your aura. Slightly harden the edges of the egg shaped globe of light around your aura with the intention that this is a protective shield. Like an egg shell, it is porous to allow positive energy into your personal space, but is a shield that blocks any energy detrimental to you. Any negative energy will slide off into the earth.

When you are ready cross back across the bridge over the brook. Walk away filled with peace and joy.
